Council

Privacy policy

What we collect

When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you convene a council we record your prompt, which of your brains you selected, and the council's output — each model's deliberation, the chairman verdict, the vote, and citation pointers to the brain pages used.

What we don't collect

We don't track you across the web. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We don't sell, share, or resell anything you generate. Every council belongs to the account that made it.

Where data lives

Application data (councils, verdicts, transcripts, credit ledger entries) is stored in a single Neon Postgres database hosted in the US. Your brain content itself stays on ounie.com — Council reads it at deliberation time through Ounie's API as you, and never keeps a copy of your sources.

Payments

Payments happen on ounie.com, where Stripe processes credit purchases. This product never sees your card number; it only reads and debits your Ounie credit wallet. Stripe's privacy policy lives at stripe.com/privacy.

Your brain content

Councils are grounded only in the brains you own and select, fetched through Ounie's API with your own session — Council can never see anyone else's brain, and never stores your sources. Deleting a council deletes its verdict and transcript; your brain on ounie.com is untouched.

Deletion

To delete your account or download your data, open a privacy ticket. We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30.
